Big decision…

This is going to be big step for me.

For the last few months, I was working hard as part time/hobby miniatures painter. Basicly, I spend almost all my free time on painting. My wife noticed, that sometimes when I wake up at 5 AM, I go straight to my desk and paint. I do not know what happened, but painting miniatures is at the moment the best thing I can imagine to do. The best way for relax. Actually, my wife recently started to meditate, and she tried to persuade me to it as well. After few sessions I realised, painting minis calm me down/ease my thoughts ten times more than these sessions.  This is what makes me happy the most – I practically skip movies and video games at the moment. Miniatures  – nothing else matters:).

…so, I came to this big decision – I start to offer commission painting services. Few folks asked me if I do it. I tend to answer – sorry, I’m not good enough or simple – do not joke, please… but I realised, since miniatures business became the real thing for me – why the hell do not try commission services? After all I do not have anything to loose, and even if I get only one commission – I won. Every penny will help me in developing my blog – so it’s a win-win situation. And huge part in making this decision had my beloved wife. She encouraged me with all her heart and supporting my hobby big time.

Details and about the services and pricing in ‘Commission‘ section on the blog. Please take a look also at my Ebay auctions where I sell painted miniatures that I do not need. I love to paint – but it happened that I got overwhelmed with too many armies, games and projects. Some just need to go.

Miniatures Gallery show you what I’m capable of.:)

Well, that’s it. Pretty exciting I am – announcing it. And while I’m settled down for net seven months in Poland, I’m open for any commission.

Until next time!

  1. I know exactly what you mean about painting miniatures being like meditating, I find exactly the same thing. Best of luck with this mate, your work is cracking so I’ve got no doubt there’ll be people interested 🙂

  2. Good luck with it dude – you’re certainly good enough! Watch out for it spoiling your enjoyment though – nothing like money to suck the fun out of a thing!

  3. Best of luck with it, mate. My only advice echoes Alex’ though – be willing to politely decline things that you’re not interested in, because it can really trash your enjoyment of the painting hobby.
