Goblin Trader Hobby Store – the place to be in Barcelona

Have I mentioned it already? Probably few times in many different occasions, but if not, I’m doing it now (again) – next week I move to Barcelona! I’m super excited about this. Barcelona is in my top 5 places to live. Warsaw still remains number one, but I feel (or rather we – me and my wife), the shift would be good for us. It’s not going to be permanent, but at least two years will be nice time to have it there. Of course, it means our life will change a bit – the blog will become little bit less about travelling, but well it’s going to be still about games. And that’s what matters the most. Anyway… new place means entirely new setting and new gaming community. It’s going to be hard to fit in 100% like in Poland. After all I will be newbee, with only communicative Spanish. And believe me Spanish (or Catalan) is necessary in Catalunya. The people out there are not so good in English. Not at all. So, …

5th Festival of Miniature Painting and Sculpture. Toruń, Poland 2016

As promised, I’m back on my feet and regular posts will pop out. Two times a week is my optimal plan, and I’m going to stick to this no matter what. Toruń Festival was taking place for the fifth time, and like every year it is in the last weekend of June. For me, it was the very first time there. I was thinking to go to the festival for at last two years now. However, Toruń Festival’s date so far was colliding with another event, which was for me a long time tradition and number one priority. And now random fact about me: as huge old school reggae and ska fan I would not miss This is Ska Festival in Rosslau, Germany for the world!. This is …

Bases, bases, bases! Lots of bases!

Few weeks ago I’ve ordered a handful of resin bases from Micro Art Studio and finally later last week I’ve received my package! I’m happy as a  small boy. Finally most of my miniatures will have proper bases. Of course, right now it’s going to be loads of work with pining and glueing minis to the bases (not to mention painting them), but I can assume it’s going to be fun work:). And what’s more important it will be very rewarding – everything I was doing for past few months (or even years now) will be finally finish… I just need some time:). So, what exactly bases I got from Micro Art Studio? Let’s take a look:) Blood Angels (Warhammer 40000) I was thinking how to base my Blood Angels for quite a some time. I had few options in mind – wilderness, wasteland or maybe more urban environment. After short consideration I’ve decided to go with Tech Bases from Micro Art Studio. They are of course so deep SF, as you can even imagine, …
